The essentials of the role:

• Planning and leading research activities to assist in improving the overall user experience design for all projects.
• Initiate quick, rapid prototype test with target audience to design ideal user experience during pre-project stage.
• Work closely with respective teams to develop personas by understanding business objectives and analysing the existing data.
• Review and assist in planning UX flows, develop prototypes and supportive deliverables to effectively communicate solution approach.
• Design ideal state user experience by aligning with client’s business objectives.
• Discuss and provide key direction to UI/UX Designers in bringing UX to reality.
• Conduct quick usability testing on prototypes, identify flaws in the design and suggest modification accordingly. Iterate cycle until the solution is ready to be released in the markets.
• Conduct user research and interviews to understand customer pain points, evaluate the findings, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations and produce customer-centric solutions during post-launch stage.
• Experienced in various UX tracking and measuring tools and methods, identify the most appropriate research method to get maximum value in a timely manner.
• Conducting competitive analyses for similar products/services and evaluating the experience a client’s product or service provides.
• Prepare report and present on the findings and propose solutions.
• Work closely with respective teams to identify product/feature releases, prioritize and plan the milestone.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders, articulate rationales behind to obtain approval.
• Keep up to date with the UX trends, proactively knowledge sharing with respective teams.
• Work collaboratively with Project Management Team, Design Team, Content Team, Front-end and Back-end Teams to align overall user experience.
• Be a trusted UX consultant to clients and other team members. Potential to form and lead a UX Research Team in the future.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Design Research, Human Factors Eng., HCDE, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
• 3 years of working experience in user experience design and UI development for web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to advocate for ideal user experience and communicate importance to team members and stakeholders.
• Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget.

The essentials of the role:

• Create UI/UX design that is highly innovative and intuitive, for web (desktop & mobile versions), mobile application and admin panel.
• Lead UI/UX projects assigned, from envisioning, implementation to testing and maintenance.
• Conceive and execute innovation into solutions for on-trend platforms and devices.
• Suggest the best UI/UX solutions to client as a consultant on digital design discipline.
• Strong foundation in design, which includes composition and layout, typography, colour theory, image selection and manipulation.
• Familiarwith the concept and basic guidelines for responsive design.
• Long term brand guardian for all projects assigned.
• A team player, actively offer input in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Communicate and collaborate efficiently with other departments, such as Project Management Team, Web Team, Front-end and Back-end Teams in completing the projects.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to junior designers.
• Familiar with UX problem solving methodology is a plus point, e.g. Design Thinking, Lean UX, Agile and Google Design Sprint.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in UI/UX knowledge, as well as new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends in design to deliver cutting edge work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Digital/Creative/Graphics/Multimedia Design discipline.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Organized and efficient in time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Always have the can-do attitude, i.e. willing to explore different design styles, take up design challenges, willing to accept constructive criticism with an open mind and improve from time to time.
• Self-motivated and capable to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent presentation and interaction skills in English. Able to read and type in Chinese is an added advantage.
• Highly efficient in prototyping and design softwares – Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop mainly. Knowledge in other softwares such as Sketch, In Vision, Balsamiq, Zeplin etc. is optional.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies is an added advantage – HTML and CSS etc.
• Knowledge of animated gif or motion graphics is an added advantage – After Effect etc.
• Candidates with strong design portfolio from other related design discipline, such as graphic design, are encouraged to apply as well.
