You will play an important role in:

• As a back-end developer, your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database.
• Required knowledge in pre-processor (SASS), task automation and version control systems like GIT/SVN.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Able to switch and adapt to different frameworks if situation demands.
• Managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
• Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc).
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Creating database schema that represent and support business processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Coffee Script depending on your technology stack.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in WebSocket’s / socketIO.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, Strong Loop and others.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in integrating with REST APIs.
• Good knowledge and experience in developing and deploying REST APIs.
• Good knowledge and experience in Redis, its data types, and their use cases.
• Experience in working with databases such as MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
• Fast learner and a go-getter without any fear of trying out new things.
• Work experience on NodeJs is a must along with a server-side framework.
• Minimum relevant experience 2 years in NodeJS.
• At least Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in relevant course.
